The Armenian Genocide

The Armenian Genocide, the first Genocide of the 20th century, was perpetrated by the Ottoman Turks and took the lives of over 1.5 million innocent men, women, and children. Even though 21 countries (including Russia, France, and Switzerland), 42 US States, International Association of Genocide Scholars, and many others have recognized the Armenian Genocide, to this day the Turkish Government denies it. In a campaign of mass killings, forced deportations, and starvation, the Ottoman Turkish government aimed at eliminating a whole race.

Today, over 450,000 people have lost their lives in the Genocide which is taking place in Darfur, Sudan. The Sudanese Government through Janjaweed Militias and regular forces is carrying his anti-humane activities. The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued a ruling which called for the arrest of Omar al-Bashir. However, the Turkish current Government officially and publicly refused to enforce the ruling of the ICC and extended an invitation to the rogue killer to take part in a meeting in Turkey. We unite with the international community and voice our outrage against the Genocide in Darfur and condemn all who aid and abate those committing crimes against the humanity.

It is up to each and every one of us to continue fighting for the recognition of the past Genocides, because only doing so will prevent future Genocides from taking place. Donate to us and give us the tools to continue fighting for this horrendous crime against humanity.
