Haiti Earthquake
Unified Young Armenians (UYA) Official Statement
Our praye
rs and condolences go to the people of Haiti and those who lost loved ones in the massive 7+ Richter earthquake in that poverty stricken country. We urge the world community, and especially the Armenians around the world to help the victims of this earthquake.
When the 1988 Spitak Earthquake shook Armenia, the world came to its assistance and aid poured in from across the world. While we are thousands of miles away from that Caribbean country, we can do our part to alleviate the suffering of the people. Now it is our turn to help those in need.
Below are some humanitarian organizations who have done great work in the past in regards to the crisis stricken areas. By helping them, you will give the necessary resources to them to continue lending a hand to the most unfortunate. Click on the logo and you will be directed to the Organizations website.
We thank you in advance for your help.
Board of Directors,
Unified Young Armenians
